Photolab
is a department whose name can be traced back to the early
days of Tenibac when cameras, negatives, and dark rooms were
used to produce a desired look. Today, computer technology
has all but erased the need for our previous methods.

Crisp
and precise lettering is currently achieved using the latest
software and laser technology. We can translate many file
types including .igs, .dxf, .dwg, .eps, and .cdr as well as
files from other bitmap and cad-based programs. Camera-Ready
artwork is always accepted.
Engraving
of logos, part identification and bar-codes are all services
performed by the photolab. Our technicians are trained to
engrave lettering in most metals including P-20, H-13, and
stainless steel as well as aluminum and brass.

Mold
tags are also created by the photolab department. These are
a quick and durable way to label the sides of tools. Mold
tags are engraved to display such things as tool ownership,
part diagrams and schematics. These tags are easily fastened
to any mold and can withstand the high temperatures produced
in a press.
Chemical
engraving of logos, mold tags and lettering has evolved over
the years to take advantage of current technology but the
one constant that has remained throughout is the quality that
only Tenibac can produce.
